Redmi has launched an entry-level smartphone called Redmi A4 in India. The highlights of the smartphone includes Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset, a 50MP dual rear camera setup, a 5,160 mAh battery and more. The smartphone will go on sale in India on Amazon India website.

The newly launched Redmi A4 is launched in two storage variants. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 8,499 and the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is launched at Rs 9,499. In terms of colours, it comes in Starry Black and Sparkle Purple colour variants.

Redmi A4 will go on sale in India on Amazon India website, mi.com and offline stores on November 27.

Redmi A4 Specifications
Redmi A4 features a 6.88-inch HD+ screen that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. As per the company, the display is certified with TÜV Low Blue Light, Circadian and Flicker-free to protect users during prolonged screen time. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset and offers 4GB RAM with 4GB of expandable RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.

For photography, it comes with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor and a secondary camera. For selfies, the smartphone features a 5MP front facing camera. As per the company, the phone will get 2 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates.
Redmi A4 is equipped with a 5,160mAh battery that supports a 18W fast charging. Buyers will also get an in-box charger that supports 33W fast charging. It also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm audio jack. The company claims that the phone is IP52-rated for resistance against dust and light splashes, making it a reliable companion for everyday use.
